Students can earn academic credit for their internship experiences while also engaging in mentored reflection, 通过参加PRAX 200课程, 普凯投资201, 或prax301.
Students engage in a paired internship-special project experience. PRAX 200的取值范围为0.25-1.0 credit, which counts towards fulfilling the Experience (E) Requirement. 如果学生没有得到1.一门课程0学分, they must complete the remaining credit with additional E-designated courses or experiences. Students may enroll in the internship after locating their own internship and securing a faculty sponsor. The faculty sponsor oversees the development of the content and form of the academic reflection and provides assessment of whether the work merits 信用证要求. A full unit of internship credit assumes between 90 and 150 hours, depending on requirements as negotiated between the student and the faculty sponsor. 分级学分/无学分.

Intended for students who have already received academic credit for an internship or who have had significant prior work experience, this course helps students learn how engagement in a variety of work experiences strengthens their intellectual and professional agility. 在本课程中, students are required to complete an on-campus or off-campus internship of at least 45-90 hours. Throughout the asynchronous 在线课程work, students build a deeper understanding of the diversity of workplace missions, 文化, and communities within single or multiple Career Channels. Since students are immersed in a professional environment and reflect upon their own career development, this course fulfills a portion of the Experience Requirement (“E” Requirement). 这门课可以上多次, but each internship (either organization or job title) must be different. - Students need to secure a internship field site.
- Students may get academic credit for internships that extend across multiple semesters. However, they must register for different courses each semester.
- The internship must be registered before the last date to add classes. (见 校历 对日期.没有例外.
- 一个完整的实习学分(1).00) requires a minimum of 90 hours participating in the internship, and 0.50 credits requires 45 site hours minimum. (0.25和0.75 credits requires 23 site hours and 68 site hours minimum, respectively.)
- 课程计入 E级毕业要求. 如果一门课程是1.0 credit, it completes the E requirement. If not, students must complete other E-designated courses to complete the E requirement.
- Courses are graded Credit/No Credit (CR/NC). If the student doesn’t meet the agreed upon assignments or the site hours, no credit will be awarded.
